Get to Know Jim McDonald
When Jim McDonald begins a relationship with a new client, whether it's in connection with a business, personal matters or both, he obviously needs to understand the financial aspects of that person's business and/or personal life. But he especially wants to know what their goals in life are. Because for Jim, it's connecting on a human level that makes it possible to design the successful strategies that help clients achieve their goals and objectives. Every client is unique and has his or her own needs and motivations. It's up to Jim to connect clients with the information they need in a way that they can use. That's the challenge. And that's what brings Jim the greatest satisfaction. It's also why he takes the time to understand his clients as people. According to Jim, taking a holistic approach to business from the start of the relationship pays big dividends down the road.

Focus on personal financial planning and consulting with an emphasis on succession planning for management and ownership of closely held businesses.
