Sang Ahn

I was born in Korea and moved to Hawaii when I was 17, then on to Portland for graduate school. People sometimes ask why I’m still here. That’s easy: Portland is a great place to live.

Before we had children, my wife Vivian and I had more opportunities to attend the opera, Broadway shows, plays, the symphony. Now we spend our leisure time exploring with our children, taking them to museums, sporting events, theatrical shows and parks. Children open your eyes to many wonders, often as near as your own back yard.
