Office Administrator

Crystal Kasmar joined McDonald Jacobs in 2017. As part of the Admin team, she considers herself to be a book-end for the client experience – from setting up new clients and sending engagement letters to existing ones, to processing the tax return or financial statements. Crystal’s first role at McDonald Jacobs was as receptionist, and you still may catch her sitting at the front desk, should you stop by our office. Prior to joining McDonald Jacobs, Crystal managed a boutique, and understands the needs and concerns of our small business-owning clients.

Crystal participates in a number of committees at McDonald Jacobs, including the Culture Club, which brings the firm’s different departments together, and also organizes our monthly volunteer excursions. McDonald Jacobs’ focus on volunteering and giving back to the community is one of her favorite parts of working here; Crystal is an avid volunteer, both at work and on her own time. Crystal is also a member of the Marketing Committee, where she is able to use her BA in Marketing from Portland State University.

In her free time, you will find Crystal trying new food in Portland, or volunteering her time related to politics and legislation.
