Amy joined McDonald Jacobs as an intern in 2020 as she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting at Portland State University. Before transitioning to accounting, she attended New England Culinary Institute and worked closely with small business owners in the food service industry. These experiences led her to become interested in accounting and passionate about small businesses and her community. Amy was drawn to McDonald Jacobs because of their non-profit client base, and the warm and welcoming nature of their staff.
In her spare time she enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Oregon, cooking, and gardening.
