Stories are part of our lives, and Novena enjoys learning about the stories of her clients’ lives, and how those stories influence their estate and wealth preservation goals. She began her own new “New Story” in July 2016 by moving to Portland, Oregon to be closer to her son and his family; she understands the importance of integrating family relationships and connections in guiding clients to meet their goals. To continue her new story , Novena chose McDonald Jacobs for their dedication in providing high-caliber and comprehensive services to their clients, active community involvement, commitment to technological sharpness, and attentiveness to their staff’s healthy balance between their working and personal lives. The perfect plots for their clients, their community, and their staff’s future Storytelling!

Over thirty years of experience in pubic-accounting, twenty-four of those years focusing in the estate and trust planning, taxation, and fiduciary administration; review and preparation of personal income taxation, estate and trust income taxation, and estate and gift taxation, estate and trust accounting (court and non-court supervised); advise and assist private and independent executors, administrators, personal representatives, and trustees. Novena has served as trustee and personal representative for trusts and estates giving her first-hand knowledge of the responsibilities and demands made by these roles.
